With a Scottish connection, the bride liked the idea of a subtle Celtic influence being applied to their wedding stationery.
With a specific tartan in mind, handmade, textured paper was used to create layers of pale green and navy blue on ivory card. The wedding invitations had two small silver bells added to the design while the evening invitations had two silver champagne glasses added. The insert contained all the necessary wording.
For the Order of Service we used a scroll idea and attached a band of the appropriate tartan ribbon to hold the scroll together. The outside wording contains the bride and grooms name, the location and the date of their wedding, the inside wording contains the Order of Service.
