The bride's favourite colour is lilac, so this became the main theme. They also wanted a subtle Celtic influence to be applied to the wedding stationery.
With this in mind, handmade, textured paper was used to create layers of lilac on white card. The wedding invitations had two small silver bells added to the design while the evening invitations had two silver champagne glasses added. The insert contained all the necessary wording with a simple Celtic-style motif in the corners.
The final design was then applied to the invitations, order of service, place cards, seating plan and thank-you cards.
